Data governance ensures consistent, sustainable and reliable data management. It involves policies, procedures and standards to maintain data quality, integrity and availability, maximizing data value while minimizing risks.

As an intern in the Data Quality and Governance team, you will:

• Facilitate communication across various departments to promote awareness and understanding of data quality and governance initiatives
• Assist in the rollout of data quality and governance processes, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Support the documentation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate employees about data governance practices
• Help monitor and report on data quality metrics and data governance implementation
• Take ownership of a dedicated project related to Data Quality & Governance communication

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
• Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelors and Masters degree program (Gap Year)
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. German is a plus, but not required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Prior experience or coursework related to data quality, data governance, or data management is a plus, but not required
