• Understanding the current casting process and identifying key process characteristics.• Analyzing process variability using production data and quality indicators (scrap rate, non-conformities, deviations).• Identifying root causes of process instabilities (parameters, tooling, methods, materials, environment).• Applying problem-solving and robustness methodologies (e.g. PFMEA, SPC, DoE, 8D, statistical analysis).• Proposing and testing improvement actions to reduce dispersion and increase process capability through DMAIC structure• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions on the shop floor.• Documenting results and formalizing best practices and standard operating procedures.• Implement statistical process analysis on a defined scope (casting)
