A400M Material Support Specialist (Temp Agency)

Job Description:

An opportunity for an material support engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the Material Support Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

-    Be the coordinator between Material Support organization and other company directorates, such as Programs (Office & Services), Commercial, Legal, Finance, Production, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, MRO and the Local Teams and/or Subsidiaries.

- Be the Customer’s / Subsidiary main focal point for all matters related to Material Support Services (Spares, AGEs, Repairs and ISS deliverables), providing the highest possible Level of Service to all the Customer’s requirements and needs related to Material Support.

- Contribute to the increase in the A400M Fleet Availability in terms of material availability.

- Ensure and anticipate the delivery of any desirable outcome to any Customer’s query, in terms of Material Support, by coordinating cross-project activities inside Material Support organization, with the support –when needed- of the other Company Directorates.

- Coordinate all Material Support departments, and monitor the procedures to ensure the implementation and success of the Contracts, including management and mitigation of any risks and issues arising

-. Prepare and ensure within Material Support organization that contractual deliverables to Customer are provided On-Time, On-Cost, On-Quality, providing visibility of all steps in the Supply Chain which contribute to the final Delivery Date for both, spares and repairs.

- Experience: At least 3 years in the area...
- Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
- Languages: Advanced level in English.
- Technical knowledge: programming in C, advanced level of CATIA,…
- Valuable / Nice to have: experience in automotive will be valuable/a master in X will be valued
