What you will do:
This position will provide direction and leadership to Stores department employees to ensure inventory is properly stored, secured and accounted for. In addition you will provide inventory receiving oversight to ensure material meets company certification specifications and requirements. Position is also responsible to develop inventory measurements to ensure department efficiency standards are met. Additionally the position will provide employee training and create work schedules for employees. This position reports to the Stores Manager.
What you need:
High School Diploma OR GED
- 5 years experience in a Stores/Stockroom environment
- Has spent time leading and directing a group towards a shared goal
- Willingness to learn to be a better leader and assist others in the same
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency with Inventory Management Software
- Willing to work in a 24/7/365 operation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Servant leader mentality
- Positive mindset
Preferred skills:
- 2+ years lead or Supervisory experience
- Bachelors degree in Business
- Aviation industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to 30 pounds
- Ability to work outside periodically
- Ability to climb and lift articles above head
- Ability to work at height of 20 feet
