Summary:
Manufacture composite aircraft parts in accordance with manufacturing specifications
Demonstrate required manufacturing competencies as evaluated through performance review programs
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, lofts, and operation sheets to determine process sequence
Use precision measuring tools including 6" scales, micrometers, and dial calipers
Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspection
Maintain accurate logs and production records (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, DR/DI documentation, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow FOD, 5S, and safety program requirements
Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2 years of related composite manufacturing experience
Ability to work with composite resins and composite materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to read and use a 6-inch scale
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work any shift as required
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
