PDS Tech Commercial is looking for experienced Assemblers to take on a critical role in the aviation industry. As a key contributor to complex production assembly operations, you will help build the structural backbone of advanced aircraft systems. Your expertise will directly impact the performance, safety, and reliability of modern aviation technology.
Your Mission: High-Stakes Assembly at the Forefront of Aerospace
As an Assembler, you will perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and full aircraft systems. You’ll work with cutting-edge materials and high-precision tools to meet rigorous engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute complex assembly tasks using manual and automated tools on aircraft structures and systems.
Work with CFRP, aluminum, and titanium for structural drilling, trimming, sanding, and shimming.
Perform close-tolerance drilling, fastener installation, and component integration in high-precision structural zones.
Use calibrated precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
Set up and validate jigs, tooling, and fixtures to prepare for assembly operations.
Follow detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions with accuracy.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support production schedules.
Technical Skills Youll Use Daily:
Structural assembly tools (hi-speed and lo-speed drills, pneumatic/electric drills, nut runners, Quackenbush).
Precision measuring tools and equipment.
Tooling setup and validation procedures.
Installation and removal of a variety of aerospace fasteners.
Familiarity with composite and metallic materials.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
7+ years of experience in a mechanical, advanced manufacturing, or technical role.
7+ years using hand, power, and pneumatic tools in an assembly environment.
7+ years interpreting and following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite, email, and web-based applications.
7+ years working with structural part fabrication and aerospace assembly procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Capable of climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
Comfortable working with high-hazard chemicals and materials.

Pay Details: $30.73 to $39.14 per hour
