Schedule: Monday to Friday; 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.30 per hour
Job Description:
As an Associate Tool & Gage Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing and assembly operations. This entry-level position offers direct training in setting and adjusting gages to meet the standards required by our manufacturing and assembly departments.
Responsibilities:
Utilizing gage blocks, horizontal trimos, and other gage setting devices to maintain precision and accuracy.
Maintaining electronic inventory records using SAP or similar systems, including calibration records for all gages issued and returned.
Handling the receiving, storing, issuing, and delivery of perishable tooling, fixtures, gages, shop supplies, and safety items.
Demonstrating proficiency in database systems relevant to the department, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Collaborating with internal and external associates in a team environment to ensure seamless operations.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Solving problems of moderate scope independently, with complex issues referred to the department Supervisor or Manager.
Demonstrating knowledge or willingness to learn about gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, fixtures, and abrasive products.
Utilizing computer skills as needed, with training provided as necessary.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
Ability to take direction, work collaboratively in a team environment, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle moderate scope issues independently.
Knowledge of gage setting, perishable cutting tools, or related products is a plus.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to forty pounds, and obtain or train for a forklift license.
Basic computer skills preferred, with a willingness to learn and adapt as needed.

Pay Details: $21.30 per hour
