Repair & Procurement Coordinator

Overview
Small Business is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in coordination of our repair and procurement operations for Helicopter and Fixed Wing parts for military and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing and be capable of coordination of our repair and procurement processes from start to finish. This role is crucial for ensuring that our organization effectively manages the outsourced repair operations as well as procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review of incoming repair orders
• Perform incoming visual inspection of units received from customers for repair.
• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end repair of outsourced repair efforts.
• Coordinate issuance of PO modifications for repair requirements.
• Perform monitoring of all units under repair and provide status to customers.
• Coordinate timely issuance of invoices and monitor payment status.
• Package and ship repaired units per company requirements.
• Coordinate issuance of POs for manufacture or acquisition of parts.
• Coordinate Quality personnel inspections as required.
• Maintain PO hard copy as well as electronic files.
• Assist with picking parts from warehouse for small part order.
• Assist with Packaging and shipment of aircraft part orders per company requirements.
• Assist with Unpackaging helicopter and airplane part shipments per company requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work/interact with company personnel, suppliers and customers.
• Ability to work independently and have good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and perform other duties when needed.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

• Ability to read and understand Aviation parts manuals (IPB/IPC)
• Past civilian or military Aviation maintenance experience
• Familiarity with aircraft parts

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma
• College preferred but not required
• Job training will be provided

Job Type

• Full Time/Part Time (Expect 30-40 hours per week)

Physical Requirements:

• Job is mainly sedentary
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend.
