We are looking for a buyer to join our Supply Chain department. This role will ensure the company’s material supply and procurement of goods and services from existing suppliers. This role is based in our Lubeck office and is a 2-year interim contract.

What you will do 

• Retrieve and review purchase requisitions, converting them into purchase orders, and transmitting them to the supplier

• Clarify changes to purchase requisitions with the supplier during ongoing processes, adjusting the purchase order accordingly

• Maintain data in the ERP system

• Tracking the requested delivery date until the goods are delivered to the warehouse

• Obtaining missing documentation or preparing defect reports for non‑conforming goods. Returning rejected goods to the supplier and handling complaints.

• Review deviating incoming invoices for quantity, price, and other irregularities and clarifying them with the supplier. Preparing customs value verification for imports from non‑EU countries

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver a smooth purchase and procurement process

What you will learn

• Specific purchase and supply chain skills in global business

Experience & Skills  

• Proven experience working within a Buyer or Purchase Administration position

• Experience working in the same or similar industry

• Experience of working with an ERP system

• A Collaborative, problem solving mindset

• Fluent in German and English is a must

• Existing Eligibility to live and work in Germany

Certifications    

• Qualifications within Supply Chain

• Qualifications and or degree in a relevant industry (Aerospace, Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing are preferred)
