JOB TITLE: C-17 Material Coordinator

Summary:
Process, store, deliver, and track materials in accordance with prescribed methods.
Perform shipping, receiving, inspecting, and material handling using company equipment.
Read and interpret work orders, part lists, specifications, and shipping/receiving documents.
Document and maintain material requisitions, picking instructions, and inventory records.
Apply basic math to count, add, subtract, and inventory parts and supplies.
Operate hand tools, company vehicles, GSE, and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, hoists, etc.).
Fabricate special containers for part shipments.
Use barcode readers, packing equipment, and banding equipment.
Consolidate parts into kits (standard, hazardous material, tooling).
Stock and issue a variety of parts, including hazardous materials.
Perform rough and non-angular cutting of materials, primarily tubing.
Verify received materials against documentation; report discrepancies or damage.
Conduct inventory audits and report deterioration or damage.
Route materials to prescribed storage locations and prepare for shipment.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Review production schedules and ensure material availability to meet deadlines.
Analyze and resolve material issues, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
Support configuration control and complex material requirement analysis.
Comply with all safety, FOD, tool control, housekeeping, inventory control, and contractual regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
2 3 years of stockroom/crib procedures experience.
3+ years working with computer-based inventory or warehouse management systems.
1+ years managing Government property (Acquisition, Receiving, ID, movement, disposition, contract closeout, subcontractor control, records, utilization, inventory).
Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Able to use warehouse equipment.
Requires rotating shift support.
Regular and predictable attendance required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Physical Requirements:
Ascend/descend ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 35 lbs; occasional 2-person lift for >50 lbs.
Frequent reaching overhead, walking, standing, balancing, crawling, bending, stooping, or sitting.
Operate foot controls and handle metals; exposure to noise and elevated platforms.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
Finger manipulation up to 1 3 hours.
