JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for: safely programming and machining of complex metal components to meet customer’s requirements; this may include meeting drawing/print specifications.

MAIN DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Use of CNC lathe/mill
  • Use of cranes
  • Use of measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers etc.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Need at least 3 years’ experience running medium to large horizontal CNC lathes
  • Preferably Mazaks – Mazatrol controls.
  • Able to perform basic programming in Mazatrol and Fanuc.
  • Good fast paced work ethic.
  • Familiar with long, tubular components with tolerances of +/-0.001”
  • Familiarity with nickel & titanium super-alloys, as well as carbon and stainless steels.
  • Team player with an excellent attitude and motivational skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • MS Office experience and competency
  • Strong analytical, arithmetic, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Capable of making sound decisions
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
