Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for: safely programming and machining of complex metal components to meet customer’s requirements; this may include meeting drawing/print specifications.

MAIN DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Use of CNC lathe/mill
Use of cranes
Use of measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers etc.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Need at least 3 years’ experience running medium to large horizontal CNC lathes
Preferably Mazaks – Mazatrol controls.
Able to perform basic programming in Mazatrol and Fanuc.
Good fast paced work ethic.
Familiar with long, tubular components with tolerances of +/-0.001”
Familiarity with nickel & titanium super-alloys, as well as carbon and stainless steels.
Team player with an excellent attitude and motivational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
MS Office experience and competency
Strong analytical, arithmetic, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Capable of making sound decisions
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
