JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Calibrated Tools Administrator
Department: Calibration – OSC (Dept. 67)
Reports To: Calibration Tools Admin Supervisor
POSITION PURPOSE:
To administer the Kalitta Air calibrated tools program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a file system and computer program of all calibrated tools and test equipment used by Kalitta Air.
- Create new part numbers for employee owned tools and, when requested by purchasing,
newly acquired calibrated tooling.
- Provide a Quarterly Calibration Tool Report to each store and/or department detailing all
calibrated tools / equipment assigned to them.
- Provide a monthly Calibration Due Report to each store and/or department of all tools /
equipment assigned to them requiring calibration during said month.
- Create internal repair orders for items to be calibrated by the Kalitta Maintenance
Calibration Lab.
- Request external repair orders for items sent to outside calibration vendors.
- Review documentation of items returned from calibration to ensure accuracy, validity, and
ensure that data entered into AMOS is accurate.
- Additional duties or projects as assigned by the Calibration Tools Admin Supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous Calibration experience with calibrating equipment/tooling and using various certified equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
