As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you’ll have responsibility in ensuring incoming materials are routed properly and our finished product is sent back to our customers in a timely manner.

What you’ll do:

• Manage receiving and shipping of parts and materials, ensuring accurate system transactions and documentation.

• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and generate discrepancy or damage reports as required.

• Verify customer documentation and part numbers to ensure accuracy and compliance with work orders.

• Distribute incoming materials to appropriate departments and return completed parts to shipping for final processing.

• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and export filings while coordinating instructions with Customer Service.

• Package materials using best practices to ensure safe transport back to customers.

• Maintain shipping supply inventory, perform local deliveries, and follow all safety and PPE requirements.

• Operate a forklift.

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:   

• Valid drivers license

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for at least 10 of the shift

• Ability to stand for at least 50 of shift

• Ability to speak, read and write English

Desired Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience in logistics and/or shipping/receiving

• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS OneWorld, DHL, or similar systems

• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office

• Knowledge using an Email client like Outlook

• Familiar with Lean and 5S principles

• Well organized with attention to detail 

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to think outside the box when solving problems

• Knowledge completing AS Filings

• Ability to do overtime when needed, specifically during month end
