TASK DESCRIPTION:

The Controlled Spares Coordinator will be the single interface for all the KAF Secure parts (includes all Secret Parts such as APG79 Radar parts, EW system part and all other parts deemed to be U.S. Secret parts) efforts at AAJB. Reports directly to the AAJB Warehouse Manager.


TASK REQUIREMENTS:


1. Coordinates, plans, organizes and controls all Controlled Spare operations. Plans all Controlled Spare resources and activities in relation to KAF & company objectives and set targets.
2. Setup layout for secure parts space management & AAJB Secure Parts procedure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance with the KAMP and NAVAIR Security procedures
3. Ensure that the check IN/OUT of secure spares is one for one and that there are zero delays in secure critical spare parts.
4.

Manage Secure Parts stock control:

the receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of secure parts; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into the Share Point system. Manage real time inventory accuracy through the Share Point system.
5. Develops staff of warehouse personnel by internal/on-job training. Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
6. Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock. Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
7. Establish & issue Secure Parts Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, consumption report, manpower status report to the Site Manager & the AAJB KAF S.O.1 Supply.
8. Implement LEAN principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities and monitor for opportunities for continuous improvement.
9. Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service. Liaise with Expeditors’ customers and ensure all resources are utilized efficiently.
10. Coordinate all AAJB receiving and shipping activities, ensuring that priorities are met and no materials backlog occurs.
11. Provide assistance, technical expertise, and training to KAF officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians in support of warehouse operations.
12. Support OJT and cross-train KAF personnel.

 

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Prior experience in military supply warehousing operations and a minimum of 10 years work experience in the supply field.
2. Minimum of five (5) years in secure parts Warehouse operations.
3. Proficient in the use of computer word processing, database, and computer-based graphics/presentation development programs. Must have additional skills to perform research using the internet.
4. Prior use of Share Point is desired but not required.
5. A US Secret security clearance is required.
