a Business Analyst / Product Manager
within Airbus Defence & Space Digital in Manching.
By developing and maintaining systems we support Aircraft Customer Material Services in the complete process from selling spares, initial provisioning all the way up to deliver.
You will become part of the enthusiastic international &34;Material Services Solutions&34; team with diverse software projects & services and direct contact with our customers.
Your scope will be:
- Conducts in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the customer, with recommendations on automation.
- Identify areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy.
- Supports the IT Product Manager in the Product/Service Planning based on the customer requirements.
- Produces documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer.
- Defines and develop the required specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and Product team members.
- Monitors external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements.
- Serves as liaison between Product Management teams and technical resources during product development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered.

Your duties and responsibilities
- Business support and requirements & functional analysis mainly concerning ELMASS/EES
- Planning & managing change requests & bug fixes potentially through software development subcontracting
- Documentation of the system definition for the relevant functions and program flows
- Creation of test cases and their documentation
- Coordination and management of the system interfaces with the relevant colleagues
- Deployment and operations of developed solutions
- Involvement of stakeholders around the applications organization (Servers, Networks, Desktop, Developers, External Providers, Software Vendors)
Desired skills and qualifications
- Completed computer science degree or comparable (e.g. IT specialist training)
- Knowledge in C/C&43;&43;/Java/JSP is a plus
- Experience with Linux shell environment
- Experience with Perl scripting
- Experience of Application build, -deploy and -management under Linux with git
- Experience with Oracle SQL
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of IT security requirements and connections in the IT architecture
- S2000M standard knowledge is a plus.
- Business fluent German and good knowledge of English
