This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing (3PL); to ensure efficient flow of production materials throughout the plant.
- Incorporates planning decisions from external customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
- Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets on hand or in transit to optimize total supply chain planning.
- Manages WIP of fabricated Production parts for Operations; impacting end-item production - enables production scheduling decisions for key stakeholders.
- Coordinate build revisions with Operations, ME and Planning.
- Work with ME and Planning to resolve any order discrepancies.
- Assist warehouse with expediting and distributing backorders to shop.
- Validate and Quality Control VLM kits, to ensure parts are available for assembly production.
- Process shop credits/Opr credits; maintains O & S reporting.
- Issue parts to manufacturing as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills / ability to multi-task
- Self-starter with an ability to take ownership of processes/projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- SAP – supply chain planning
- Demonstrated skills and abilities with MS Office, ERPs (Supply Chain Systems), and general end user computing
- Must be familiar with ITAR and international import and export shipping requirements

Summary Pay Range – Entry Level (Level 1): $48,5000 - $74,350
