The Boeing Company is seeking a Supply Program Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our BDS Global Field Operations (GFO) team in Minneapolis, MN.
The selected individual will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team in working supplier performance management in the BDS GFO East-Central Region of the United States. Our Global Field Operations representatives monitor emergent offload/overload suppliers including processors, philanthropic, machine and sheet metal shop and provide technical assistance in areas like manufacturing, planning and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.
Global Field Operations (GFO) is the presence of Boeing at its suppliers and sub-tiers, and are responsible for being the integrators for driving communication and resolutions in our supply base. It is the responsibility of Field Representatives to proactively problem solve and drive overall supplier recovery to ensure delivery and quality compliance. This position will primarily engage with suppliers located in the States of MN, IA and WI. This position may require 30-40 travel outside of the Minneapolis, MN vicinity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and measure supplier performance.
- Develop and generate supplier performance metrics.
- Provide direction to suppliers to improve their performance to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication, etc.).
- Lead supplier performance reviews.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities; assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation plans.
- Communicate performance to plan to stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead cross functional team efforts to assess supplier processes and systems.
- Work with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnel.
- Develop and utilize communication tools and plans.
- Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.
- Communicate supplier performance status to programs, internal business partners, customers and all other stakeholders; with excellent verbal, reading, technical, and writing skills.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Technical Bachelors, Masters or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
- 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- 5+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to travel up to 30-40 of the time

Summary pay range: $118,150 – $145,950
