Fabrication Specialist A

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
- Prepare aircraft parts for painting.
- Make necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes.
- Perform machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion.
- Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
- Prepare test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
- Perform composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.
- Build commercial aerospace products with cutting edge technology and a great team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience with hand tools preferred
- Familiar with blueprint interpretation
- Assembly experience preferred
- Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred
- Positive team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment
