LOCAL/NON LOCAL In-situ Machinists
Please note whilst we expect the roles to be operating on a Night Shift Pattern, there could be flexibility for other shift patterns, but nights takes priority
•Machining activities on-board the submarine units, using machines best suited to the task in accordance with the skills of the relevant In-situ Machinist. To work to drawing tolerances/parameters and quality requirements.
•The role will report into a Team Leader

Local (Up to 39 miles)
24.53 + 3.57 PAYE
31.97 Umbrella
Non Local( Outside 39 Miles)
32.53 + 4.73 PAYE
42.11 Umbrella
Core Duties
The role holder:

• Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification.

Qualifications:
• Served and Approved Apprenticeship (In-situ machinist, Machinist, Mechanical, Fitter/Turner)
• NVQ Level 3 Equivalent Qualification (In relevant subject)
