Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degreee or certification in aerospace inspection or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inspection or minimum 5 years in manufacturing role
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipars, micrometers and CMMs
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- An effective communicator and an influential team member
- Must be able to obtain SAE Designated Product Release Verfication (DRPV) certification along with all applicable customer certification for product release
- Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card Holder) or have the ability to obtain the neccessary Goverment licensing to work with controlled technology and products
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in quality management (e.g. CQI, CQT)
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodolgies
- Knowledge of aersoapce quality standards (e.g. AS9100, AS13100)
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking at least 7hrs/day
- Ability to carry lift up to 25lbs
- Bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling required (At least 2hrs/day)
- Use of hands for fine dexterity, light and strong grasping (At least 7hrs/day)
