Inventory CoordinatorJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Inventory Specialist to support inventory accuracy and material flow within a clean, well‑organized repair and logistics facility. This role blends hands‑on warehouse work with clerical and system‑based tasks, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, organization, and teamwork. If you have warehouse or inventory experience and are comfortable operating a forklift, this is a great long‑term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and release containers while processing all required documentation
- Clean containers (interior and exterior) according to approved procedures
- Interact professionally with transportation drivers during deliveries and shipments
- Prepare outbound containers for shipment, including required cleaning and testing
- Coordinate with Logistics and Customer Service teams on documentation and special handling requirements
- Enter inventory and shipment data accurately into inventory management systems
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move containers and materials
- Perform additional warehouse and manual tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands‑on environment
- Forklift operation experience (or ability to be certified)
- Experience with inventory tracking, data entry, and basic computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
- Reliable attendance and a team‑focused attitude
Preferred Experience- Prior inventory or warehouse experience
- Familiarity with logistics, shipping, or material handling operations

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
