Job Description

The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory including receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials. It involves performing a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of files and records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and release containers, processing all associated documentation.
• Clean inside and outside of containers under supervision, following CSafe documentation.
• Interact with transport company drivers during deliveries and container releases.
• Prepare outgoing containers for shipment, including cleaning and testing per CSafe approved documentation.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Customer Service to ensure proper documentation and special instructions for loads.
• Enter information in inventory systems as required.
• Operate simple warehouse equipment as necessary.
• Perform other related manual tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean repair facility at ORD, operating under a provider of cold chain shipping solutions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a structured and organized work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
