The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist plans and schedules material/production needs, impacting departmental operations and is responsible for planning/execution.

Job Description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manages master planning, material processes and systems, prepares and updates production schedules and purchasing needs.  Ensures operational alignment with production plan and KPI’s.  Optimizes inventory and process improvements.
  • Exhibits in-depth understanding of key business drivers; using this understanding to accomplish goals.
  • Understands how the work of the team integrates with other teams and contributes to the department.
  • Collaborates with key business leadership to ensure the needs of the team, department and site are met, leveraging internal sources outside of the team to arrive at decisions if needed.
  • Interacts at all levels of the organization; manages multiple tasks and establishes effective work priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in material planning and/or supply chain experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of material planning and/or supply chain experience.

Desired Characteristics:

  • APICS certification.

  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

The base pay range for this position is $83,800 - $139,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 3/20/2024.
