Machinist

Morson are recruiting for several CNC Machinists for our leading aerospace and defenece client in the Bristol area.

All contracts are 6 months Initially although likely to be long-term/temp to permanent. . Please note all contracts also attract 28 days paid holiday allowance.

CNC Machinist Filton 3 on 4 off Nights (16 weeks shift rotation) x 3

24.74 PAYE for the first 12 weeks. 25.76 post training

Working 7pm to 6.45am

To operate as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Tasks will be undertaken and worked through the use of:
• Machining of parts aircraft parts to drawing specification
• Checking of parts using conventional equipment including height gauges
• Micrometers, vernier, calipers to meet required specification
• Working to engineering drawings
• Manufacturing to defined high tolerances
• Manually or mechanically move components to ensure the effective flow of production within the cell
• Deburring for onward safe handling only
