STS Technical Services is hiring a Materials Lead to support operations for one of our Fortune 500 clients in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This role is critical to keeping production moving by ensuring materials are received, tracked, issued, and delivered accurately and on time.
If you have strong inventory control experience, are comfortable working inside an ERP system, and take pride in organization and accuracy, this is a solid opportunity with a stable schedule and excellent benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies
- Order, receive, and issue materials through the ERP system
- Determine production requirements by reviewing work orders
- Verify items and quantities on packing slips and receive or ship materials as required
- Package materials and parts in appropriate containers for safe internal and external shipment
- Respond to material requests and communicate with internal customers
- Develop bills of lading and delivery documentation
- Locate, pull, and verify materials listed on production orders
- Learn and utilize the company’s inventory and materials management systems
Basic Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Inventory control and shipping and receiving experience
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to complete forklift training and maintain forklift operator certification
- Ability to acquire and understand lean manufacturing concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using JD Edwards E1 ERP system
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Fridays, 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Overtime may be offered
- 11 paid holidays annually
