Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complies with Safety requirements, completes training per schedule, participates in investigations and read-across as requested, promptly identifies safety issues, works with team to pursues solutions, and escalates issues to proper site leadership.
  • Participates in assessments, read across and PFMEAs to identify and understand sources of defects.  Promptly identifies and escalates risks to leadership and works with team on solutions.  Complies with policy and procedure.
  • Participates in LEAN events and applies learnings to daily activity.  Applies and improves upon standard work in area of responsibility.  Identifies sources of waste and Customer dissatisfaction, escalates to leadership team and works among the team to find solutions.
  • Performs standard work.
  • Coordinate tooling requirements for field jobs in conjunction with Production/Technicians, Materials, Tooling & Engineering teams.
  • Coordinate access to Customer sites-AOG 24 x 7 call coverage.
  • Input Costs into SAP-Answer Invoice questions and follow up on requested actions.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Technical Bachelor Degree.
  • CAAC Part-66 license is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar function (material management) in aviation industry.
  • Very good knowledge of English and computer skills (Windows applications and material management tools).

  • Willing team player attitude, strong communication skills and problem solving ability are a must.
  • Possess a desire to learn and grow with advances in technology.
  • LEAP, GE90, CFM, CF6, CF34, and GENX experience.
  • Line maintenance, engine changes, module removal & installation, or LRU removals and installations.
  • Engine borescope inspection training, experience and authorization.
  • Demonstrated aviation maintenance quality, corporate compliance and customer satisfaction skills.
