Job Description:

This is an entry-level position in which the individual will be trained to perform one or more of the following composite part manufacturing functions: lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learn to Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications in a team-oriented work environment.
Demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements of the Manufacturing Competencies at the appropriate level in the Employee Effectiveness Review.
Read work orders.
Learn to Check all work and ensure a defect free Layup prior to inspection.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company FOD and 6S programs, and comply with all safety regulations.
Support Lean activities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Entry level position.
Essential communication skills include the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math.
Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions.
Must have essential personal skills, which include an aptitude for hands-on craftwork, a professional attitude, attention to detail, ability to work with people and to meet demanding schedules.
Must demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices.
Proficiency in current personal computer based software.
Must be available to work any shift.
Must be able to lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds.
