Parts Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift
Job Description:
  • Carry out tasks based on customer and facility demands. 
  • Responsible for performing weekly cycle counts, aged or expired inventory audits, and year-end inventory. 
  • Responsible for maintaining, auditing, certification, and documentation of calibrated and non-calibrated tooling 
  • Maintain/Nurture relationships with suppliers. 
  • Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders. 
  • Order, stock, and inventory all parts and supplies for the facility. 
  • Assist both internal and external customers with parts and stock requirements. 
  • Complies with all applicable Quality Procedures (QPs), and local work instructions. 
  • Inspect all incoming products and consumables as described in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals. 
  • Maintain and file records in accordance with company policy, Repair Station Quality Procedures, and FARs. 
  • Assist external customers with "over-the-counter" parts purchases. 
  • Assist with weekly cycle counts and year-end inventory. 
  • Prepare items for shipment. 
  • May prepare customs documents and shipping declarations as required. 
  • Observe all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules, and policies. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. 
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Perform simple math calculations. 
  • Listen and effectively present information to and communicate with groups of customers, vendors, and employees. 
  • Valid driver's license. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft parts preferred. 
  • Previous experience in supply chain operations and/or inventory management preferred. 
  • Report to work in a regular and timely manner. 
  • Must show initiative and have great organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,252.00 - $50,000

Schedule:

  • During training, Monday thru Friday then transition to Monday thru Thursday 2nd shift 1:30 PM to Midnight
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Aviation Related: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Inventory management: 4 years (Required)
  • Four years of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
