Responsibilities

The Indirect Procurement Buyer places purchase orders, tracks and expedites for non-catalog orders to meet internal customer rrequirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Procurement expertise to support projects and on time delivery to manufacturing sites

ensures Purchase orders are placed within 24 hours

Understand industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities

Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities

Support functional transformation

Maximize use of electronic procurement tools

Provide mentorship to junior buyers

YOU MUST HAVE

Good communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills

Some college education

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software

Ability to analyze, organize, and report data

Self-starter: Ability to work with little to no supervision, Ability to review data and spot trends, Ability to reach consensus with internal and external customers

Ability to build a long term working relationships with team and customer base both internal and external

Good knowledge of procurement tools and processes related to assigned commodities

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of procurement experience

2+ years of supply chain experience

2+ years of experience in Oralce or SAP (ERP) system

Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable transactions
