The Parts & Procurement Operations Manager leads all sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the aircraft fleet is consistently supported with the right parts at the right time. This role oversees parts ordering, receiving, and issuance to work orders while driving best-price procurement strategies and maintaining accurate records through month-end reporting and periodic physical inventory counts. The manager safeguards inventory accuracy, optimizes stock levels, and ensures full traceability and compliance across all materials. Strong procurement leadership, vendor negotiation, and proactive supply-chain planning is essential to the success of this position.
Essential Functions
- Parts ordering, receiving, and best-price procurement
- Executes timely ordering and receiving of aircraft parts while competitively sourcing vendors to ensure best-price procurement and uninterrupted maintenance support.
- Inventory issuance to work orders: Issues parts accurately to corresponding work orders to maintain proper traceability, cost allocation, and maintenance documentation integrity.
- Month-end inventory reporting: Prepares and submits accurate month-end inventory reports that reflect stock levels, usage trends, and reconciliation results.
- Periodic physical inventory counts: Conducts scheduled physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support audit-ready recordkeeping.
- Parts department organization: Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient parts department layout that supports quick retrieval, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Supplier relationship management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable part availability, competitive pricing, and responsive service.
- Other general inventory management responsibilities: Performs a range of inventory management tasks including stock rotation, shelf-life monitoring, and maintaining proper storage and labeling standards.

Physical Demands
- Move, Traverse: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the parts room and hangar.

- Move/Transport/Lift: frequently moves boxes and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exposed: constantly works in a hanger, with slick floors, that is exposed to FL outdoor weather (heat, wind, etc.)
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time 7:00a.m.- 3:00p.m. and weekends as needed.
