Job Title: Data Entry Office Clerk
Job Description
The Data Entry Office Clerk role involves clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and auditing paperwork within an office environment. You will work alongside 4-5 coworkers and will receive training over one to two weeks by the head of the department. (3:30pm – 12am, Wednesday – Sunday, OT is offered).
Responsibilities
- View and audit maintenance repair updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
- Perform data entry tasks in both internal and customer ERP systems, including SCEPTRE, and Concourse.
- File paperwork and perform general office clerical work.
- Tally books, perform stamping tasks, and engage in multi-tasking activities.
- Oversee and support data entry activities throughout all phases of the aircraft maintenance process, including arrival, active maintenance, departure, and post-test flight.
- Conduct audits to ensure maintenance records and documentation are accurate and timely.
- Assist with preparation and validation of aircraft maintenance packages, tally sheets, and associated forms to support aircraft readiness and release.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure all reporting, documentation, and compliance obligations are met.
- Track open items, resolve discrepancies or rejections, and ensure completion of all transactions in alignment with company procedures and customers’ expectations.

- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in a clerical or administrative role.
Work Environment
The work is conducted in a clean, well-lit, and organized facility that can be chilly or hot depending on the season, due to the opening and closing of hangers. Employees are advised to dress appropriately with extra layers in winter. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes, steel-toed boots, gym shoes, or work boots, and jeans without rips or tears, paired with a comfortable and appropriate work shirt.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
