RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in creating and developing a training program for Finishing/Visual across 3 shifts.
- Train new and current employees in all areas of the workcell ( stone, visual, belting etc.).
- Create & document proper techniques/methods for all areas of the workcell.
- Monitor and provide timely input on training progress to assist supervisor with employee performance appraisals.
- Work with engineering on continuous improvement on quality systems and requirements.
- Assist lead person and supervisor to help increase productivity, solve scrap issues and reduce rework.
- Maintain all training records for workcell areas per ISO/AS requirements.
- Other duties assigned by supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years manufacturing experience.
- Thorough understanding and interpretation of QEI/PEI/SOP’S.
- Experience with computers a plus.
- Capable of having numerous training activities in process at the same time.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous training experience a plus.
