None/Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team in support of the G400 Flight Test program. Based at our customer facility in Savannah, GA, this onsite, mid-shift role plays a critical part in upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance across our products and processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong commitment to precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced aerospace environment.
This position is working onsite at Gulfstream facilities in Savannah, GA. This position is a mid-shift role.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of products and materials
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
- Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of quality issues
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
- Use measurement tools and equipment accurately
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality requirements are met
- Apply fundamental math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages, to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Support materials handling, including chemicals and parts receiving and inspection
- An essential function is to see and read information on multiple monitors and type on a color-coded keyboard for eight or more hours of the day. You will be required to pass a vision assessment.
- Occasional work overtime/ weekend shift work as needed
- Work mid-shift (10am – 6:30pm) hours may vary.
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills on a day-to-day basis.
- Bring high energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to your work, demonstrating strong self-motivation, initiative, and a focus on driving results.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and attention to detail
- This role requires performing detailed visual inspections for extended periods, including identifying defects and interpreting color-coded indicators. You will be required to pass a vision assessment to ensure you meet the necessary visual acuity and color vision standards for this work.
- Safely perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- 3+ years in an Aerospace or similar inspection role using inspection tools/techniques and measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- 3 years of experience in reading blueprints (2D and 3D) and interpreting specifications
- Experience in navigating and operating CATIA, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP programs

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
