Job Title: Raw Material Handler
Job Description
The Raw Material Handler plays a critical role in the daily operations by managing shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory activities. This position supports production operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift, with preference for experience in wide load forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks using fork trucks, pallet jacks, and/or hand trucks, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Unpack crates and boxes, verify item accuracy and condition, and document any issues.
- Handle incorrect or defective parts by placing receipts on hold and coordinating with appropriate vendors for resolution.
- Process all Jobscope system transactions related to shipping, receiving, and bin transferring accurately.
- Assist with production operations, including roll-forming skin panels as needed.
- Maintain shipping and receiving files and assist with customer return receipts.
Essential Skills
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Proficiency in using Outlook; experience with AS400 is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work order instructions and other drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- 1+ years of experience preferred.
- Physical strength and dexterity for material handling tasks.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The environment is non-climate controlled, with metal cutting tasks that can be dirty and extremely hot during summer months. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots and eye/ear protection, is required. Employees should be able to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift and move weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
