Summary of Duties
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor of Spares Operation, the incumbent is responsible for processing all transactions relating to inventory into and out of remote warehouses. These include, but are not limited to UPS Louisville, UPS Singapore, Jet Aviation Hong Kong, DAS-SOD, DAS-PBI, DAS-LIT, DAS-LJC and Hawker Pacific Australia. Incumbent is responsible for preparing, maintaining and processing required documentation and reports to monitor work flow at outside warehouses. This also includes the completing and processing of automated system transactions and auditing all discrepancies related to remote warehouse. Which includes reviewing MADS for UPS location and root cause analysis to eliminate MADS from UPS warehouses. This will require on-site training of UPS employees and travel to the U.S. UPS warehouse at least four times a year. These trips will be documented to ensure DFJ processes and procedures are being adhered to. This position requires the building of a close working relationship with the inventory supervisor and MIS within DFJ. This position will also perform regular Operations duties that include receiving, distribution, picking, packing and shipping in accordance with company standards.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Relieves Supervisor from certain daily responsibilities, including operations reporting and follow-up of all remote warehouse operations,:
- Creation of Stock Transfer Orders
- Completions of Stock Transfer Orders
- Assistance in review stock variances
- Notification to remote warehouse to process orders for customers
- Completion of all transactions in FACTS system for processing of orders for remote whse
- Completion of all transactions related to RA’S from remote whse
- Works with the materials supervisor on inventory levels
- Process all transactions relating to inventory moving of parts inbound and outbound for all western hemisphere remote warehouses including drop shipments, manual shipments on a daily basis, utilizing company’s computerized inventory control system in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assures all orders are processed in timely manner to meet customer demands for shipments of parts.
- Monitor the in transit report (location 94) for all outside warehouses.
- Monitor pick and pack report for all outside warehouses.
- Assures all inventory discrepancies are corrected in timely manner working with inventory control supervisor. .
- Oversees MAD DOC report, of discrepant parts in remote warehouses. Work towards reducing 4444 MADS and put processes and a procedure to address these MADS.
- Issues daily and monthly reports as required to monitor productivity and efficiency.
- Performs general warehouse tasks which include, but not limited to, processing orders, loading and unloading of trucks, operating forklift and automated order picker, assisting in the counting, storage and retrieving of material.
- Use of scales to assist in picking / shipping of material and verification of inventory counts.
- Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as needed basis.
- Works closely with inventory supervisor to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.
