JOB DESCRIPTION SUPPLY CHAIN SENIOR EXECUTIVE

YOUR ROLE AS A:
As a Senior Executive, Supply Chain at Indonesia AirAsia, you will be responsible for supporting and executing end-to-end supply chain functions – including procurement, supplier and contract management, logistics coordination, and inventory processes – to ensure efficient supply operations that align with business requirements and AirAsia’s cost objectives.
You will partner with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, maintenance, and external vendors) to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services, compliance with policies and aviation standards, and optimisation of supply performance.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Supply Chain Execution & Supplier Management
Manage day-to-day supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms, conditions, quality standards, and service level agreements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply processes.
Assist in sourcing activities, purchase order management (PR to PO execution), and negotiations for contracts or ad-hoc procurement needs.
Monitor supplier KPIs (delivery, cost, quality) and proactively address issues.
Logistics & Operational Coordination
Coordinate logistics activities, including freight planning, customs clearance, and shipment tracking to support internal operations and materials flow (if part of role scope).
Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant logistics execution.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Assist in the continuous improvement of supply chain processes, tools, and SOPs to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Provide accurate and timely reporting on supply chain activities, spend data, supplier performance, and related metrics.
Support demand forecasting, inventory monitoring, and coordination with relevant teams to align inventory needs with operational requirements.
Compliance & Cross-Functional Partnership
Ensure procurement and supply activities comply with internal policies, aviation regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with finance/legal teams for contract terms, audit support, payment compliance, and risk mitigation.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand needs and provide supply chain solutions that deliver business value.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or related functions, ideally in a dynamic industry such as aviation.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with ERP or supply-chain systems.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work effectively across teams.
