What You Will Do
Procurement & Sourcing Strategy (Primary Focus)
Support daily purchasing operations, sourcing activities, and procurement execution to ensure continuity of supply for operational and New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements.
Develop strong competency in procurement compliance, Contract Agreements, and Purchasing Standard Work to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry quality requirements.
Manage outsourced workshare teams and support supplier onboarding, sourcing strategies, and long-lead material acquisition to improve supply readiness and minimize delays.
Prepare and coordinate RFPs for high-value purchases, including supplier evaluations, bid analysis, and commercial negotiations.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while proactively mitigating supply and delivery risks.
Support the Singapore Operations Council – Non-Product Workstream by collaborating with other RTX sites in Singapore on shared initiatives, best practices, and strategic projects.
Material Planning & Production Control (As Business Needs Evolve)
Adapt to evolving departmental and business requirements, with opportunities to broaden responsibilities into material planning and production support functions over time.
Support inventory planning and material availability through demand analysis, usage trends, and operational forecasts.
Review and maintain data integrity for Bill of Materials (BOM), material planning parameters, and ERP transactions to support operational efficiency.
Expedite and coordinate material deliveries with suppliers while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams to address supply constraints.
Support inventory optimization initiatives and identify strategic buying opportunities through operational and financial analysis.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Strategy (Ongoing)
Support cost reduction, inventory optimization, and process improvement initiatives across the supply chain organization.
Participate in CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) and continuous improvement activities including Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.
Utilize analytics and digital tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Qlik Sense to support operational analysis and business decision-making.
Contribute to operational reporting, performance reviews, and strategic supply chain initiatives as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
What You Will Learn
Exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, planning, logistics, and production support within an aerospace MRO environment.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and organizational transformation initiatives.
Opportunities to work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Procurement.
Hands-on experience in supplier management, inventory optimization, operational planning, and supply continuity management.
Development of data analytics and digitalization skills using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Excel, and automation platforms.

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP.
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in aerospace, aviation MRO, manufacturing, or other regulated operational environments.
Exposure to procurement, material planning, inventory management, or production control functions.
Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Access, VBA, or similar platforms.
Interest in digitalization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and willingness to take on broader responsibilities as the business evolves.
