In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring that procurement activities align with business objectives, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to overall financial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for machining components that align with organizational goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Oversee complex procurement projects related to machining, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 6 plus years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, specifically in machining operations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and tools relevant to machining procurement.
• Expertise in managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
• In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and technologies, including CNC machining, tooling, and fabrication methods.
• Experience in evaluating machining suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Ability to analyze machining specifications and requirements to ensure optimal sourcing decisions.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess machining requirements and capabilities.
• Experience in conducting technical assessments of machining components to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
