Job Title: Stockroom Lead (Building 3)

Department: Powerplant Division

Reports To: Materials Supervisor / Materials Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure organization and cleanliness of the stockroom.
• Ensure that inventory balances remain accurate. Ensure that transactions of company and customer furnished material is in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure that a secure warehouse environment for company owned and customer furnished material is maintained and ensure proper accountability of assets.
• Help to ensure that a customers parts and materials are segregated from other customers
• Ensure that serviceable parts and materials are segregated from unserviceable parts and materials and are labeled with the customers name and aircraft tail number.
• Ensure that the Project Manager is notified when a customers parts and materials are received.
• Contact the customer to arrange shipping information for unserviceable parts and materials, or obtain instructions if the parts are to be scrapped.
• Ensure that receiving inspections are accomplished on a customers incoming parts and materials.
• Ensure that personnel have knowledge of common warehouse practices, warehouse tool operations, current computer systems, and that personnel are making accurate data entries in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Powerplant Materials Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 2 years of stockroom experience is required
• Prior Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
