Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To work in a designated area in each of the activities within the department pertaining to Supply Chain, including but not limited to Warehousing, Stock Control, Navixa Material Control, Goods In, Goods Out and Stocktaking.
  • Receipting material into stock, onto relevant Business ERP System within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and recording systems maintained.
  • Issue and delivery of stock in line with planned requirements, KPI’s and within agreed timescales and to the designated location.
  • Collect, pack and ship goods from the Despatch, in accordance with best practice and standard.
  • Ensure correct paperwork, identification and certification received and issued with goods.
  • Undertake routine, planned stocktaking duties and random stock checks as directed.
  • Comply with all risk assessment and internal procedures when handling, packing, storing and shipping Dangerous Goods.
  • Carry out the effective collection, recording, receipting and locating of Serviceable returns and processing of Unserviceable returns.
  • Ensure that the good housekeeping practice is maintained within area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all communication is clear, concise and that where relevant is escalated through the Line Manager.
  • Ensure that recording of data required to maintain KPI’s is carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals. Working in a warehouse environment and managing customer-owned-product (COP) to ensure availability and stock queries and resolved.
  • Ensure that products and services received meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practice and take responsibility for implementing these.

 

Competencies and Experience: (e essential / d desirable)

  • Experience of an equivalent role (e) 

  • Experience in a similar industry (d)

  • Ability and experience of handling aircraft parts or similar (d)

  • Familiarity with aerospace quality procedures and documentation including process documentation. (Training Provided) (d)

  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (e)

  • Ability to manage priorities in a busy working environment (e)

  • The role holder must have excellent communication skills, be able to stretch to meet targets, and be a flexible enthusiastic team player. (e)

  • ERP System experience (e)

  • Working knowledge of a Supply Chain (e)

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training: 

  • (Desirable) MJDI Training

                

Additional Information:

  • Flexible with regard to overtime and being on call when required.
