The primary responsibility of the Supplier Performance Specialist is to conduct supply chain audits at suppliers facilities. The person in this role will manage the action plan, recovery plans and improvement plans that will have to be put in place with those suppliers.
This position can work remotely in New Jersey or Florida, due to our HQ location in NJ and Floridas strategic importance with suppliers.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Conducts supplier supply chain diagnostics and/or on-request mission analysis
- Conducts new supplier assessment and approval process
- Manages supplier improvement and action plans as needed
- Negotiates with suppliers regarding recovery plans, capabilities and performance for procered products and part returns (for upgrading, repairs and overhauls)
