Salary Range: $78,000–$92,000 annually

Your ImpactAs a Defense Supply Chain Proposal Agent, you will lead and manage all supply chain proposal activities in support of U.S. DoD, allied government, and global defense pursuits. You will serve as a critical liaison between procurement, engineering, contracts, finance, legal, and program management teams — ensuring every proposal submission is accurate, competitive, compliant, and audit-ready.
Your expertise in regulatory flow-downs, cost realism, and supplier coordination will directly influence winning defense contracts that support national and allied security missions.
What You’ll DoLead planning, coordination, and submission of supply chain inputs for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
Interpret and flow down FAR, DFARS, and international defense contract requirements into supplier packages and BOE documentation
Partner cross-functionally to ensure proposal accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness
Maintain a centralized pipeline view of current and upcoming defense supply chain proposal efforts
Develop executive-level reporting on proposal status, risks, and resource needs
Support make-or-buy analysis, supplier quoting, and cost estimating strategies
Review supplier inputs for cost realism and compliance with DoD cost principles
Participate in internal and customer-facing reviews, audits, and fact-finding sessions
Ensure export control and ITAR/EAR compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle
Maintain documentation supporting DCAA/DCMA audit readiness
Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal tools and processes
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in proposal, procurement, or supply chain roles
Experience working with U.S. DoD acquisition processes and proposal structures
Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations and international defense contracting practices
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
Strong communication and executive presentation skills
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in Aerospace & Defense or government contracting environments
Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations, CMMC cybersecurity compliance, and supply chain security principles
Experience with cost estimating, supplier negotiations, and BOE development
Familiarity with proposal pricing tools (e.g., ProPricer) and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI)

Pay Details: $78,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
