Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, issue, and track bench stock, repair parts, tools, and Special Tools & Test Equipment (STTE)
- Establish, update, and maintain manual and automated maintenance management system records
- Perform HAZMAT shelf-life surveillance and compliance management
- Generate and manage Reorder / Reorder Point (RO/ROP) reports for inventory control
- Conduct location accountability surveys and inventories, posting results to stock records
- Maintain stock control and accounting records for Abrams platforms
- Provide administrative and operational support to Tool Room personnel
- Transport parts and supplies using forklifts, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), or commercial vehicles
- Support field operations, including work in outdoor and extreme temperature environments
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. Person
- 3+ years of logistics experience supporting military or DoD environments
- Strong working knowledge of Military Logistics terminology and processes, including:
- Hand receipts
- National Stock Numbers (NSNs)
- Tool identification and numbering systems
- Supply Support Activity documentation
- Experience maintaining inventory control, stock records, and supply documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to learn Lotus Notes
- Willingness to train on or utilize SAMS-E, SARS, LMP, and PBUSE systems
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain DA Form 348 for operation of forklifts, MHE, and government vehicles
- Knowledge of proper use and care of hand tools and STTE in retrofit/deprocessing operations
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and operate in extreme environmental conditions in motor pool and field environments (OSHA compliant)
- Ability to travel to U.S. military installations as required (travel requirement listed last per best practice)
