Summary:
Assesses manufacturing requirements, verifies customer requests, and coordinates with support teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Collaborates with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
Provides guidance and improvement suggestions to suppliers and analysts, participates in research on new technologies, and recommends cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
Oversees procurement of tools, services, and products, evaluates supplier performance, and ensures compliance with procedures and contract specifications.
Supports budget management, inventory control, and redistribution of tools and equipment.
Works under limited supervision.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Issue and track tools for technicians on shift.
Monitor recalibration schedules and send tools to on-base calibration labs as needed.
Inspect tools, check-in/out inventory, and maintain full accountability at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
Secret Clearance required.
Proven tooling experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procurement coordination.
Experience handling or storing hazardous materials.
Prior experience supporting a tool crib or calibration program.
Knowledge of supplier management or contract compliance processes.
Ability to read and write English.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
