Role Summary
* In this role, you will manage manufacturing tool services and support procurement processes to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality production. You will coordinate with internal teams and outside suppliers, track tool inventory, support emergent requests, and maintain accurate records to ensure manufacturing requirements are met efficiently. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have an Associate’s degree in a related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have experience with manufacturing tooling
* Must have the ability to work independently under limited supervision
* Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Must have regular and predictable attendance Preferred Skills
* You will have experience dealing with hazardous materials and waste
* You will have prior experience in procurement or supplier coordination
* You will have knowledge of calibration processes and tooling standards Job Duties/Functions
* You will be assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests
* You will be coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
* You will be working with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards
* You will be providing guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts
* You will be participating in research and analysis of new technology to recommend state-of-the-art, cost-effective products
* You will be gathering manufacturing and product information to develop solutions for manufacturing requirements
* You will be investigating changes in manufacturing requirements and supporting emergent requests
* You will be analyzing, procuring, and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tool services, products, and services
* You will be exploring all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules
* You will be supporting the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications
* You will be participating in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool service products
* You will be reviewing on-hand inventory, coordinating re-distribution, and assisting in the removal of obsolete inventory
* You will be issuing tools to technicians on shift, tracking recalibration dates, sending tools for calibration as needed, and inspecting tools to ensure full accountability at the end of each shift
