Tool Room ClerkAs a Tool Room Attendant, you will support aircraft maintenance teams by maintaining strict tool control, ensuring technicians have the correct equipment for servicing large cargo aircraft, and upholding aviation safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Issue, receive, and track aircraft maintenance tools, calibrated instruments, and tooling kits in support of L‑382/Hercules maintenance operations.
- Inspect tools for damage, wear, or missing components; coordinate repair or calibration needs to support ongoing aircraft maintenance.
- Organize and maintain the tool room for efficient workflow, ensuring tools are properly stored, labeled, and compliant with aviation safety standards.
- Perform routine tool crib inventory audits for accuracy and traceability, supporting high‑quality, low‑volume maintenance processes.
- Manage stock of consumables, hardware, and replacement tools, and assist with ordering to maintain operational readiness.
- Support technicians by preparing tooling kits tailored for heavy aircraft maintenance tasks on L‑382 aircraft.
- Follow FOD prevention practices and ensure tool control policies are always met across maintenance hangars.
Preferred Skills & Experience- Experience in aviation tool rooms, tool control, or aircraft maintenance environments.
- Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station standards and aviation calibration processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a regulated environment.
- Ability to support large‑aircraft maintenance operations in a fast‑paced hangar setting

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.25 - $27.88/hr.
