A&P Mechanic with IA Certificate

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft according to company and industry standards, manage and perform annual 100hr and condition inspections of GA and experimental warbird-type aircraft.
• MUST have an Airframe & Powerplant License with Inspection Authorization and knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Perform modification and restoration projects of GA and experimental warbird type aircraft, with careful workmanship and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of job specific equipment and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed, read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, airworthiness directives, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.

Skills:

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Adobe and Word.
• Experience with sheet metal work, including cutting, shaping, welding, and repairing aircraft components
• Familiarity with military aircraft systems and specifications
• General electrical knowledge
• Skilled in using a variety of hand tools for aircraft maintenance tasks
