Responsibilities
As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Learjet and Gulfstream
aircraft as well as other types as needed
- Ensuring all aircraft maintenance procedures are executed in accordance with
company regulations and safety standards.
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical
manuals.
- Performing detailed documentation of all inspection findings, maintenance
operations, and repair work.
- Collaborating with a team of mechanics and engineers to troubleshoot and
resolve complex aircraft issues.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and
other relevant industry standards and practices.
- Assisting in the training and development of junior mechanics and interns.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and
safety of aircraft operations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and safety
practices.
- Support flight operations with quick, professional maintenance solutions.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on excellence and integrity
Qualifications
To be considered for the A&P Mechanic position, the candidate must possess the following:
- A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong
understanding of both airframe systems and powerplant systems.
- Experience with G400, G450, G500, G550, Lear 45
- Proficiency in interpreting and working from complex engineering drawings,
manuals, and specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAR 43 and other relevant FAA regulations.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team
members and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and aircraft test equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as
needed.
- Physical ability to frequently lift, carry, and position heavy objects, and to work at
heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
