Aviation Maintenance Shop Lead A&P w/ IA Preferred- Up to 102K/yr

General Aviation maintenance facility and flight training company, is seeking a qualified FAA Certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization to lead our team of maintenance professionals on the Aurora State Airport, Aurora OR (KUAO). We are a locally owned business with a friendly, team-oriented work environment, providing aviation maintenance services to Engine Single and Multi-Engine Piston Aircraft. The preferred candidate will have experience interacting with customers and
aircraft owners.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a team lead in collaboration with peers, recommend changes in processes and organization to improve safety, and productivity in the working environment.
• Provide required inspections and maintenance to customer’s aircraft, primarily piston singles and light twins.
• Complying with applicable FAA Regulations, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations.
• Ensures that all inspections are properly performed and repairs made as needed.
• Responsible for airworthiness decisions for customer ‘s aircraft.
• Responsible to ensure aircraft maintenance records are maintained in compliance with all FAA regulations.
• Verify airworthiness and traceability of incoming parts.
