Key Responsibilities:
- Cargo Handling:
- Efficiently load and unload sports team equipment, bags, and other cargo into and out of aircraft.
- Ensure all items are handled with care and are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations related to cargo handling and aircraft operations.
- Conduct pre-load and post-load inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Verify and document the cargo manifest, ensuring all items are accounted for and correctly recorded.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor immediately.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate loading equipment such as tugs, conveyor belts, and forklifts as required.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on loading equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with team members, aircraft crew, and other relevant personnel to coordinate loading activities.
- Assist in coordinating the logistics of cargo movement and handling as needed.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the loading process in a timely and effective manner.
